ABOUT

Who I am & what I do.

Khushal at summer camp graduation ceremony

I work with young people on the things that shaped me most, education, mental health, and learning how to grow up. Some of it I studied at King's College London. Most of it, life taught me first.

I do that as a speaker, a mentor, and a facilitator, in schools, on international programmes, and one to one with young people who feel behind, overwhelmed, or unsure of their place. I'm not interested in lecturing anyone. I'm interested in what actually helps a young person build confidence, find direction, and feel less alone, because I know from experience how much that matters.

My work is simple to describe. I help young people believe they are capable of more than they've been told, and that it is never too late to begin again.

I make videos and reels for young people about the things that are hard to say out loud: feeling behind, starting again, and working out who you are. Alongside that, a homecoming series filmed in my village in Shangla, Pakistan. Before this, I worked as a video editor at Boxraw, on content featuring world champion boxers.

The way I work.

I've lived what I talk about.

I don't teach from a textbook. The things I talk about, resilience, mental health, starting again, I had to learn myself. Young people can tell the difference, and it's why the message reaches them.

With them, not at them.

The sessions that work are the ones where young people feel spoken with, not talked down to. That's when they open up and actually take something away.

Fun, and built to stick.

I keep sessions active, with thought experiments, games, and real conversation. Young people remember what they take part in, not what they're talked at, so I build the whole thing around them doing rather than just listening.
